ロシアより愛をこめて / From Russia with love

中学を卒業して別々の高校に行っていた私たちは
一緒に遊んでいた仲間に会えないのが寂しくて
週末に時々集まっていました。
ある日誰か男の子の好みで「ロシアより愛をこめて」という映画を
１０人くらいでつるんで見に行くことになりました。
それまで私は高いお金を払って映画に行く事はもったいないと思っていたので
あまり映画に行った事がありませんでした。
１０人くらいでペチャクチャ喋りながら見たのですが
それでも私は洋画の魅力に完全に魅せられてしまいました。
そしてイアン・フレミングの世界にのめり込みました。
手に入るだけの００７シリーズの本を読み漁りました。
そしてショーン・コネリーの出る映画を次々に見ました。
と同時に他の洋画もお小遣いをはたいて見まくりました。
そうやってフランス映画の世界にも入って行き
とうとうアラン・ドロンに行き着きました。
私の高校生活はショーン・コネリーとアラン・ドロンでいっぱいでした。

当時はその曲でどの映画、監督、主演俳優の名前を言えるほどでした。
壁にはアラン・ドロンのポスターがいっぱいでした。

実は私が来ているドレスは結婚した時にアメリカに持ってきて
妊娠中にマタニティーとして着たのです。

After junior high school graduation, my classmates missed each other,
so we often met to hang out weekends.
One day, one of the boys suggested that we go to see the movie, titled "From Russia with Love".
They had a rerun of this movie.
So we went to see it with about 10 people.
I used to think it's waste of money to spend it on movies,
so I didn't watch many movies.
Even though we were chatting and sometimes noisy in the movie theater,
I fell in love with the western world movies.
I really got into the world of Ian Fleming.
I read as many books of 007 series as I could.
And I watched as many movies of Sean Connery as I could.
I started to watch any kind of movies from Hollywood, England, Italy or France.
Then I discovered Alain Delon, a famous French Actor.
My high school life was full of Sean Connery and Alain Delon.

This picture was in my sister's and my room that we shared.
I was covering my mother's eyes, who was sitting on a rocking chair.
The boy is my brother Tsuyoshi.
The stereo behind me was my friend that I used to listen to all the time with the music from the movies.
I could tell which movie, the director, the leading actor, by just listening to the music.

I brought the dress that I was wearing in this picture, to the United States
when I came here to get married.
Then I wore this when I got pregnant.
