Dave went to Japan with us in 2004.
We decided to spend some money to take Ken and Kay
to the most beautiful city, Kyoto and world's biggest city, Tokyo
and Ken's friend Hiro's town, Toyota.
When our children became teenagers,
their lives became busier.
So we decided to stay in Japan for just 3 weeks.

The first picture was when my brother's family took us some historical site.
I'm sorry, but I don't remember where it was.

The second picture was when my relatives got together and had a party for us at
my favorite restaurant, Akachouchin  in Wakamatsu.

The third picture was with my grandmother.
We visited some relatives, and on the way home, we took picture with
Dokaiwan  shore in back.

The fourth picture was in hotel in Toyota.
Ken's friend Hiro's parents  got this hotel for us.
They spent a lot of money for us.
Ken's other friend Kenji's family came to the hotel, too.
We had a great reunion there.

The fifth picture was with Mr. Ohmura,
former professional baseball player,
who played for Chiba Lotte Marines.
Mr. Ohmura took us sightseeing in Tokyo.

The sixth picture was after Mr. Ohmura dropped us in Asakusa.
We enjoyed to see Sensouji Temple there.

The seventh picture was in Kyoto.
The night we got there Kay got a high fever,
and I had to take her to the doctor next day.
While Kay was resting in the hotel room all day,
Dave took Ken to Kiyomizu Temple.
They saw some Japanese ladies who wore Kimono.

The eighth picture was at Kiyomizu Temple.
Kay became fine a day after she got a shot at the doctor's office.

The ninth picture was when we took them to the photo studio
where people could dress up like Maiko.
Maiko is a young lady who does  performance dance and song.
Kay became American Maiko, and Ken became Samurai.

The tenth picture was at Heian Jingu Shrine.

The eleventh picture was at Kinkakuji Temple.

The twelfth picture was at Nijoujo Castle.
We took a Shinkansen and went back to Kokura,
and took express train to Saiki, my parents' town that day.

The thirteenth picture was when Mrs. Matsushita's family
took us to the Chinese restaurant.
Mrs. Matsushita was Ken and Kay's 5th grade teacher.

The fourteenth picture was with Mr. Mikajiri.
He was the Principal who helped Ken and Kay.
It was a last time when we saw him.
He passed away in summer 2010.

The fifteenth picture was with my parents.
We had a party with them in Chinese restaurant.
