広島伝道部から帰還後通っていました。
２００９年の夏休み
ジェフは害虫駆除の会社の仕事を見つけ
アリゾナに派遣されました。
住んでいたアパートが
ジェフの最後の同僚だった賢のアパートの近くとわかり
仕事の後一緒に食事をしたり遊んだりしました。
夕食に招待してジェフと知り合った
私たち夫婦はすっかり彼が気に入って
恵とくっつけるために
いろんなことを計画しました。
毎週末の夕食はもちろん
アイス・スケートに行ったり
コンサートに誘ったりして
ついに恵とジェフはお互いに必要な存在だと認めました。
２００９年７月２７日のことでした。
ユタに帰ると恵から遠くなるので
ジェフはブリガム・ヤング大学に戻ることを断念し
我が家に滞在して仕事を探しました。
恵は続けて賢とコンドに住み
アリゾナ大学法科大学院に入学しました。
２０１０年４月４日
恵と休暇でカリフォルニアの両親の家を訪問中
ニューポート・ビーチでプロポーズしました。
２０１０年５月２９日
末日生徒イエス・キリスト教会
カリフォルニア州サンディエゴ神殿で
永遠に結ばれる結婚をしました。
５月３１日私たち夫婦
賢たち夫婦と一緒に
６人で日本へハネムーンに出かけました。
６月６日には北九州で
親戚を集めてきものを着て披露宴をしました。
２週間の旅のあと帰国して
６月２６日グレンデールで
もうひとつのレセプションをしました。
私たちはギルバート市に住んでいますが
恵たちはそこの人を知らないので
生まれ育ったグレンデールで行いました。
１枚目は合成写真。
サンディエゴ 神殿は当日大掛かりな工事中で
建物のほとんどは工事用の枠で覆われていました。
神殿の本当の姿を見せるために合成写真を作りました。
恵本人はグレンデールのレセプションの時の写真。
２枚目は式を済ませてすぐの２人と家族で。
３枚目は両方の両親と。
４枚目はジェフとブライズ・メイドたち。
５枚目は恵とグルームズ・メン。
６枚目はジェフの甥や姪たちと。
７枚目はそのときの本当に神殿の姿。
８枚目はカリフォルニア州コロナ市での
レセプションで花嫁の父と花嫁のダンス。
デイブはかなり日焼けしている。
９枚目は同じくコロナで。
花婿の母と花婿のダンス。
１０枚目は夫婦となってはじめてのダンス。
１１枚目はブーケ・トス。
１２枚目はガーター・トスで
ジェフの甥のブランドン。
１３枚目は友達にめちゃくちゃにされたジェフの車。
これから二人で浜辺のホテルにハネムーンに出かけました。
１４枚目はグレンデールでもレセプションで。
２人が選んだデーマは桜で
カラーはレッド、ピンク、ホワイトでした。
１５枚目はグレンデールのレセプションで
踊るデイブと恵。
Jeff was Ken's companion in Hiroshima mission
for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints.
Jeff was going to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah
after he came home from his mission.
During the summer of 2009,
he got a job for a pest control company.
The company sent him to Arizona.
He found out that his last companion Ken was living
just a mile away from his apartment.
They started to hang out after work.
Ken invited him for the dinner at our home, and
after we met him, we fell in love with him.
Dave and I planned so many activities to involve Kay and Jeff.
We invited them to go to the ice skate rink,
Chicago concert, etc, etc.
Finally they realized that they needed each other.
That was July 27th, 2009.
If Jeff went back to BYU, he wouldn't be able to see Kay often.
So he decided to stay here and lived with us in Gilbert.
Kay was living with her brother at a condo in Mesa,
while she was going to ASU Law school.
While Jeff and Kay were on vacation to visit his family in California,
Jeff proposed to her on the beach in Newport Beach.
That was April 4th, 2010.
They got married in San Diego Temple in California on May 29th.
They were sealed for eternity.
Dave and I, Ken and Maddie, Kay and Jeff, all six of us
went to Japan for Honeymoon on May 31st.
We had a Japanese reception in Kitakyushu on June 6th.
All four of them wore Kimono and my relatives congratulated them.
We traveled to Hiroshima, Kyoto and Tokyo and came home after 2 weeks.
We had another reception in Glendale.
Dave and I live in Gilbert, but Kay didn't know anybody here yet.
So we had a reception where she was born and grew up.
The first picture is fake.
San Diego Temple was under remodeling that day.
We couldn't see most of the temple.
So we asked our friend Leslie to fix the picture.
We took Kay's picture in Glendale.
The second picture was right after they came out of the temple.
The third picture was with both parents.
The fourth picture was Jeff with Kay's bride's maids.
The fifth picture was Kay and Jeff's groom's men.
The sixth picture was with Jeff's nieces and nephews.
The seventh picture was actual temple picture with scaffolding.
The eighth picture was at the reception in Corona, California.
Dave got sunburned pretty bad.
The ninth picture was Jeff and Tammie.
The tenth picture was Kay and Jeff's first dance as a married couple.
The eleventh picture was Kay's bouquet toss.
The twelfth picture was when Jeff's nephew Brandon caught the garter.
The thirteenth picture was Jeff's messy car.
They were leaving for their honeymoon to the hotel on the beach.
The fourteenth picture was their wedding cake in Glendale.
Their theme was Cherry Blossom.
Their colors were red, pink and white.
The fifteenth picture was at the reception in Glendale.
