両親と一緒にアラスカのクルーズへ / Alaskan Cruise with My Parents

２００９年恵の大学卒業式に出席するために
日本から両親が来てくれました。
前回２００５年に賢の高校の卒業で
来てくれた時はメキシコのクルーズに行きました。
帰国後父は膀胱がんであることがわかり
かなり厳しい治療を耐え抜き
４年後にまたアメリカまで来る元気を取り戻せて
本当に感謝しました。
でも長く歩くと出血したりして
余り観光が出来ませんでした。

１枚目はジュノーの国立公園で。
雨が降りとても寒かった。

２枚目は国立公園の帰りのバスで。
副大統領候補だったサラ・ぺリンの
自宅のそばを通りました。

３枚目も同じくバスの中で。

４枚目はジュノーの港を出てるとき。

 ５枚目はケチカン港で。
前日にスカグウェイ で観光した後
父はかなり血尿が出て
ここではベッドで休み
母も父に連れ添って
船室に残りました。

６枚目は船の中のレストランで。

７枚目は船の中で催された
ミュージカル。

８枚目は船の中の別のレストランで
朝食をとっている両親。

９枚目は同じく朝食中の恵と私。

My parents came from Japan to attend Kay's graduation from ASU in 2009.
So we took them on an Alaskan Cruise.
They came here for Ken's high school graduation in 2005.
At that time we took them on a Mexican Cruise.
But my father got sick and couldn't enjoy the trip much.
After they went home, they found out that my father had blader cancer.
He survived the difficult 4 year treatment
and was able to come to see Kay's graduation.
I was so grateful that his doctor gave him good treatment and
his cancer was gone.
But he still had some bleeding problems
if he walked too long and too much.

The first picture was in Juneau.
We went to a national park there.
Sorry, but I don't remember the name.
I remember it was so cold because it was rainning.

The second picture was in Juneau, too.
On the way back to the ship in  the bus.
We drove by Sara Palin's house.

The third picture was in the bus,too.

The fourth picture was when we were leaving Juneau.

The fifth picture was in Ketchikan.
We did sightseeing in Skagway the day before.
My father started bleeding and got sick.
So he decided to stay in bed.
My mother was with him in the room.

The sixth picture was at the fancy restaurant on the ship.

My parents were enjoying their breakfast.
