神殿結婚 / Temple Marriage

私の行く教会では神殿という建物があり
それは世界中に１３４の神殿が運営されていて
１０が建築、改築中で１３が建築発表されています。
私の出身地福岡にもあるんですよ。
私が結婚してから建ったもので
私はまだ一度も中に入ったことがありませんが・・・
１９８０年に東京に建てられたので
そこにはもう何度も入っています。
さて私たち教会員は神殿で結婚すれば
永遠に結ばれると信じています。
死を超えて次の世でも家族として一緒にいられるのです。
私はそのような結婚をしました。

１９８５年１２月１７日、アリゾナ州メサ市にある
末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会のメサ神殿で
主人のデイブと私は永遠の結婚をしました。

１枚目は１１月２３日に
北九州でデイブの欠席の中
親戚を集めて一人の披露宴をした時のもの。
母が私の花嫁姿を見たいというので・・・・

２枚目は１２月１７日、メサ神殿で。

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
has 134 temples operated and 10 in construction
and 13 announced to be built  all over the world.
There is one in my home town Fukuoka.
But It was built after I came here,
so I didn't have a chance to go inside yet.
Tokyo temple was built in 1980,
so I went there many times.

We believe that we can be together forever,
if we married in the temple, even after our death.
I got married in the temple, because I believe it.

The first picture was on November 23rd, 1985.
I had a reception in my home town without Dave.
My mother wanted to see my Japanese bridal kimono.
