初孫リンカーンは４月に８歳になり
家族で準備して８月１４日に
賢がバプテスマを施しました。
末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会では幼児の洗礼を信じていません。
８歳になり物事の区別が付く年齢になってから
自分の意志でバプテスマ（浸礼）を受けるべきだと信じています。
賢たちのステークセンターで式が行われました。
マディーのお母さんの前奏で皆は集会の準備をしました。
集会の司会はビショップリックのオルソン兄弟が行い
恵が伴奏でマディーのお姉さんメレディスが指揮者でした。
開会の祈りはマディーのお姉さんマルローでした。
マディーのお父さんとデイブが証をしました。
それから賢がバプテスマを施しました。
聖霊についてマディーのお兄さんイーアンがお話をしました。
リンカーンの按手礼はまた賢が行いました。
プライマリーの会長会の歓迎の言葉と

閉会の祈りは私が日本語で行いました。

Our first born grandson Lincoln turned 8 years old in April.
Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints don't believe in infant baptism.
We believe that children should be 8 years old to get baptized when they recognize and can choose right from wrong.
So Lincoln and his family prepared for his baptism.
We had a wonderful meeting on August 14th at Stake center.
We enjoyed the prelude by Maddie's mother, Allyson.
Their bishopric, Brother Olson conducted the meeting.
The pianist was Kay, and the chorister was Meredith, Maddie's sister.
The opening prayer was Marlo, Maddie's oldest sister.
Maddie's father John and my husband Dave gave their testimonies.
Then Ken baptized Lincoln,
Maddie's brother Ian gave the talk about The Holy Ghost.
Then Ken performed the confirmation of Lincoln.
The primary presidency gave the welcome talk.
Then Brother Olson gave the closing remarks.
I said the closing prayer in Japanese.
