日本から両親が私たち家族を訪問するために
アメリカにやって来ました。
今回の目的は３つで
１．賢たちの次男べックンに会うため
２．恵たちの次男カル君に会うため
３．恵たちの２軒目の家をみるため
でした。
いつものように私はサンフランシスコの空港まで
２人を迎えに行きました。
すこしゆっくりして
１０月３１日にフィニックスからヒューストンに飛び
そこで１泊して翌日ガルベストン港まで行って
そこから７泊８日のカリブ海のクルーズに出発しました。
メキシコのコズメル港
グランド・ケイマンのジョージタウン港
ジャマイカのファルマウス港
に寄港して観光を楽しみ
そのほかの日は洋上でしたが
ジャマイカに停まった以外は毎日雨でした。
さらに最後の夜は時速１３６Ｋｍ の風が数時間吹き
父などは救命胴衣を着て寝たそうです。
ちなみに父は海の男なんですが・・・
これまで西海岸のクルーズばかりで
（メキシコ、アラスカ、バンクーバーなど３回乗りました）
ハリケーンなどというものに縁がなかったので
こんな恐ろしい思いをしたことがありませんでした。
デイブが引退して収入がなくなったし
もうこれでクルーズも終わりかな？
今回のクルーズは
１２月２０日が両親の結婚６０年記念で
１２月１７日が私たち夫婦の３０年記念だったので
そのお祝いで奮発しました。
１１月８日に帰宅して
翌日から恵が産休を終わらせて出勤をはじめたので
ジェイとカルの子守りが始まりました。
両親は身近に曾孫を見れて本当に喜んでいました。
忙しい毎日で１ヶ月が過ぎ
１２月４日私は両親をサンディエゴ空港まで送り
２人は無事に帰国しました。
１枚目はサンフランシスコ空港で。
２枚目は到着の翌日我が家でピツア・パーティーをしたとき
３枚目は恵の家の訪問。
４枚目は母が書いてくれたジェイのミドルネーム「巌」とカルの「虎雄」
５枚目はハーロウイン・パーティーで
６枚目はマディーが父のヘアーカットをしてるところ
７枚目は恵から母にネイルのプレゼントでした。
８枚目はクルーズに乗り込んだとき
９枚目はクルーズのレストランで
１０枚目はコズメル港で。
１１枚目はファルマウス港で。父はここでこの帽子を買いました。
１２枚目は賢のムスタングの前で。
１３枚目は我が家の好きなメキシカンレストランMacayo'sで。
１４枚目は家族の記念写真を撮った時。
１５枚目は同じく家族の記念写真。
１６枚目は２０数年の仲良しアンダーソン家族との夕食で。
１７枚目はクルーズから帰っての毎日の様子。
１８枚目は感謝祭の日。
１９枚目は結婚６０周年記念を祝って。
２０枚目は我が家のクリスマス・ツリーの前で。
２１枚目は末日聖徒イエス・キリスト教会のギルバート神殿で。
２２枚目はメサ神殿のクリスマス・ライトを見に行った時。
２３枚目はチャンドラー・モールで最後のショッピング。
２４枚目はBarro's Pizza でお別れ会。
２５枚目はサンディエゴ空港で。
My parents came to America to visit my family on October 26th.
They had 3 reasons to come here.
1. To meet Ken's second son Beck.
2. To meet Kay's second son Cal.
3. To see Kay's second home.
As usual, I went to San Francisco Airport to pick them up.
We let them rest for few days, then we took them on a Caribbean cruise.
We left for Houston on October 31st.
We stayed at a hotel there one night, and we went to Galveston the next morning.
We got on a cruise ship for Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, and Falmouth, Jamaica
for 7 nights 8 days.
It was a fun trip, but we had rain almost everyday, except in Jamaica.
On the last night of cruise, we had hurricane hit our ship.
It was 85 mph wind lasted for several hours.
My father slept with his life jacket on.
The funny thing is that he was a sailor.
Until then we went on 3 West Coast cruises to Mexico, Alaska and Vancouver.
We never had that kind of scary trip with a hurricane.
I guess this must be the last cruise for us.
My parents' 60th wedding anniversary was December 20th,
and our 30th wedding anniversary was December 17th.
So we decided to spend some money to celebrate.
We came home from our cruise on November 8th.
Kay started working after maternity leave on November 9th.
Dave and I started to watch Jay and Cal from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM everyday.
My parents really enjoyed being close to their great grandchildren.
We were very busy every day for a month,
then I took them to San Diego Airport on December 4th.
They safely got home on December 6th.

Cal's middle name "Torao".
Iwao is my father's name and Torao is my mother's side grandfather's name.
Iwao means Big Rock and Torao means Brave Tiger.

The sixth picture is when Maddie was giving a hair cut to my father.
The seventh picture is when Kay gave my mother pedicure.

The twelfth picture is at our driveway with Ken's Mustang.

The fourteenth picture is when we took family pictures.
The fifteenth picture is a family picture.
The sixteenth picture is when we had a dinner party with the Andersons,
our close friends for over 20 years.
The seventeenth picture is showing our everyday life with grandchildren.
The eighteenth picture is our family dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
The nineteenth picture is when we celebrated my parents' 60th wedding anniversary.
They were not here on the actual day, so we celebrated early.
The twentieth picture is with our Christmas tree.
The twenty first picture is at the Gilbert Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The twenty second picture is at Mesa Temple Christmas lights.
The twenty third picture is their final shopping trip, to Chandler Mall.
The twenty fourth picture is when we had a farewell party at Barro's Pizza .
