2020年3月私たちは恵たち家族、賢とリンカーンの8人で
家族に会うため帰省を計画していました。
ところが2月にコロナが大騒動になり
私たちは出発の1週間前にすべてをキャンセルしました。
それから3年経ちようやく帰省ができました。
アメリカからの観光客は昨年10月までビザを取らないといけなかったけど
日本政府がやっとビザなしでアメリカからの観光客を受け入れるようになったので
子供たちの春休みを利用して帰省しました。
今回は恵たち家族だけ一緒に。
We planned to visit my family with Ken and Lincoln, and Kay's whole family in March 2020.
But Covid 19 became a big issue in Japan in February 2020.
So we canceled the trip 1 week before our departure.
Since then, we patiently waited for the chance to go back to Japan for 3 years.
Japanese government finally opened for tourists
from the United States without a visa last October.
So, we decided to go back to Japan during the spring break.
But Ken decided not to go with us this time.
