母方の祖母が亡くなりました。
祖母は１９１５年１月２９日に７人兄弟の６番目
三女として北九州市門司区で生まれました。
１９３４年７月１５歳年上の祖父と結婚しました。
祖父は目の不自由な娘をつれての再婚でした。
祖母は祖父の母親ミツに気に入られての結婚でした。
私は１歳と２週間で妹が生まれ
母が新生児で忙しいので
しばらく祖母に育てられました。
私にとって祖母はもう一人の母でした。

３枚目は祖父と自宅前で。
４枚目は私と１９５８年頃。
５枚目は私と１９６４年頃。
６枚目は私と１９６７年頃。

８枚目は私と２００３年頃、帰省したときに。

賢の伝道の終わりに広島伝道部に迎えに行った時。
１０枚目は同じく２００８年、
赤提灯で親戚を集めて宴会をした時。
１１枚目は２０１０年、
賢と恵の結婚披露宴の控え室で。
１２枚目は２０１１年、
私が一人で帰省した時。
１３枚目は２０１３年、
デイブと２人で帰省した時
焼肉屋さんで親戚と宴会をした時。
１４枚目は同じく２０１３年、
お好み焼き屋さんで。
She was born on January 29th, 1915 in Moji, Kitakyushu, as the 6th child of 7(3rd daughter).
She married my grandfather in July , 1934.
My grandfather was 15 years older than her.
When they got married, he already had one daughter who had eye problems.
His mother Mitsu made him marry my grandmother because she thought my grandmother was very nice and she wanted my grandmother to be her daughter-in -law.
My younger sister was born when I was 1 and 2 weeks old.
Since my mother was so busy with newborn baby,
my grandmother took care of me for a long time.
That's why she was my other mother.

The second picture is when my mother was a baby.
The third picture is with my grandfather at the front of their home.
The fourth picture is with me in 1958.
The fifth picture is with me in 1964.
The sixth picture is with me in 1967.
The seventh picture is when she attended somebody's wedding reception in 1995.
The eighth picture is with me when I went back to Japan in 2003.
The ninth picture is when Ken finished his mission in Hiroshima,
and we went to pick him up in 2008.
The tenth picture is at the same time.
We had a dinner party at our favorite restaurant, Akachochin.
The eleventh picture is at the waiting room for Ken and Kay's wedding reception in 2010.
The twelfth picture is when I went back to Japan by myself in 2011.
The thirteenth picture is when my husband Dave and I went back to Japan in 2013,
We had a dinner party at a BBQ restaurant with some relatives.
The fourteenth picture is at a Japanese pancake restaurant in 2013.
